TASK ONE QUESTIONS: MAPS
This list contains IELTS Writing Task One questions that use a map or a combination of maps. Across this website, a question with two maps is called type one, whereas a single map is called type two.
IELTS map questions are often very simple, which is fine in the test but not very useful for practice. For this reason, the first few maps on this list have been made more complicated, so that they contain enough information to practice a variety of vocabulary and grammar, which can be found here, here and here.
As the list progresses, the maps become more simple, and better reflect the actual maps used in the test.
Use these questions to practise these types of essay. If you want to submit an essay for marking, remember to use the question code (e.g. T10203) for the question you choose to write about.
